About

Happy Hollow Neighborhood Association, West Lafayette

The original neighborhood encompassed 54 contributing buildings in a predominantly planned residential section of West Lafayette, platted in 1953 and expanded in 1958.

The neighborhood developed between about 1953 and 1967 and includes representative examples of Ranch, Mid-Century Modern, and Split-level style architecture. Currently there are about 120 households in the association.

The original platted area was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. That section of the neighborhood that was recognized as historic can be viewed in this site map.  The complete neighborhood association is shown in this map.
